THE 7th ANNUAL grey liston swim was held anywhere and everywhere! participants completed their swims in North carolina, oregon, georgia, virginia, maryland, indiana and more! for the few who met in wrightsville beach on the morning of the swim’s originally planned date, the direction was south-to-north (Crystal pier >>> johnnie mercer’s pier).
Since conditions differed in each swimming location, there was no official winner for the 2020 swim.
THE 5th ANNUAL grey liston swim WAS HELD ON MAY 19 AND for the second year-in-a-row the race held south-to-north (CRYSTAL PIER >>> JOHNNIE MERCER'S PIER). swimmers braved the toughest conditions yet with weather and surf.
JARED CARTER, for the 4th year, was the overall champion in a row IN A TIME OF 30:32.
the WOMEN'S winner WAS kate pottle in A TIME OF 34:37.

MEN'S CHAMPION WAS 12 year old Jared Carter of Cary, NC WHO FINISHED IN A TIME OF 34:03.
WOMEN'S CHAMPION WAS 12 year old Amanda Ray of Raleigh, NC With a time of 36:01.

MEN'S CHAMPION WAS SEAN RUTTKAY WHO FINISHED IN A TIME OF 35:09.
WOMEN'S CHAMPION WAS DANI STEIN WHO SWAM A 37:15 WHICH WAS GOOD FOR 5TH PLACE OVERALL.
